Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is a World Heritage Site which is also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. For nature lovers, this park is one of the best places to visit in Rajasthan. It has more than 370 species of birds. The most popular birds in the park are cranes, pelicans, eagles, stints, pipits, flycatcher, wagtails, hawks, geese, ducks, larks, bunting and others. This bird sanctuary is the home of many migratory birds also, from central Asia and Siberia.

Bharatpur National park has spread in an area of 29 sq km. Wildlife lovers also visit this park, as this is the home of many wildlife animals, like – the golden jackal, jungle cat, nilgai, sambar, and wild boar. Park has more than 300 floral species and 50 fish species. Snakes, Lizards, Amphibians, and Turtles can also be seen here. A famous Lord Shiva temple is also located inside the park.

Bird Sanctuary remains open every day from 6 am to 5 pm. If you want to have the best experience of bird watching, start your tour early in the morning or just after the sunset.
